Sugao de KISS ME appears in the movie as an insert song. It acts as Wake Up, Girls! 2nd single from a major label.
Unlike the previous single 7 Girls War, the song is not produced by Hayasaka much to the chagrin of Carlos. Instead the song was done by producers at bvex records after performing an algorithm of the current trends. It is perhaps because of this that the song is not received well.
Due to the single's low sales, the members of Wake Up, Girls! attempt to sell the CD by hand in order to meet their quota and continue their current schedule of idol activities but their efforts are to no avail.
Wake Up, Girl! perform this song at a concert featuring bvex acts but are distraught to find that many of the concertgoers treat the song as an intermission rather than choosing to stay and watch them perform.

A parody version titled Sugamo de KISS ME was released on April 1, 2017 in honor of Aoyama Yoshino's lead role in the anime Re'nai Boukun. However, the video was later taken down.
