Wake Up, Girls! Shichi-nin no Idol Girls Standing Onstage
The Silent Start-Up (静かなる始動 Shizukanaru Shidō?) is the first episode of Wake Up, Girls! anime series. It was aired on January 11, 2014 and set roughly one week after the movie "Wake Up, Girls! Shichi-nin no Idol".

Touko Machida wrote the scenario and Yūta Yamazaki did the storyboard directed by Yūta Yamazaki. Kumiko Shishido, Sayaka Takase, and Keisuke Kobayashi directed the animation and Sunao Chikaoka act as the chief animation director.

The opening theme for the TV broadcast is "Tachiagare!," which is used as an insert song in the Blu-ray edition, whilst the opening is replaced with "7 Girls War," the ending theme for both versions is "Kotonoha Aoba."

SummaryEdit

On Christmas 2013, the new idol group "Wake Up, Girls!" performed their debut concert on an outdoor stage in a small park in Sendai. However, their agency's president Tange disappeared with the company's money. The remaining manager Matsuda was at a loss, and the seven members were uncertain of their group's future.
